El-kattan Pharmacies is a fast-growing chain of pharmacies that nurtures the residents of the city of Alexandria. Since its founding in 2003 (Dr. Maha El-Tayibi Pharmacy), El-kattan Pharmacies provide integrated health care services to its customers. Ranging from consultations for prescriptions, use of over-the-shelve drugs, home medical assistance to patients who are unable to visit our branches, to provide local and imported drugs and medical supplies, cosmetics, personal care, baby care and other products. El-kattan Pharmacies is characterized by a distinct 24/7 home delivery service to serve the needs of its clients as individuals or contractual anywhere in Alexandria and some areas of the north coast.

Our History
Dr. Tamer El-kattan founded the first El-Kattan Pharmacy (Dr. Mahay El-tayibi Pharmacy) in El-Wezara – Alexandria in 2003. Powered by the growing confidence of customers, El-Kattan Pharmacies chain has been growing rapidly launching Alexandria Sporting Club branch in 2009, Sidi Krier branch in the northern coast in 2011
El-Kattan Pharmacies was one of the first pharmacies in Alexandria that provided home delivery to its customers through the short phone number service. The aim was to save time and effort when customers request delivery service.
Management
El Kattan Pharmacies is an individual company, based in Alexandria, Egypt. Dr. Tamer El-Kattan is its Founder and General Manager.
Dr. Tamer El-Kattan is an Egyptian entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in the pharmacy retail business in Egypt and the Middle East. He graduated with honors at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Alexandria in 1998. Since his career years, he noted the need to serve the residents of Alexandria with distinct health care services. After traveling to work in the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies in Saudi Arabia, he returned to Egypt to achieve his dream of launching a series of pharmacies with a global quality in Alexandria.
